For my final thesis, I have proposed to design and create a luxury atelier exhibit. In order to encapsulate and bring to life the research from my literature review, which can be summarised in one simple formula: Legacy + Craft = Narrative. Luxury brands were the founders of experiential branding, and I intend to create a mock-luxury experience. As part of a design experiment, I discovered a passion for leather craft, which I plan to utilise in my final thesis project to create a memorable experience for attendees. Creating my own garment and accessories, paired with the presentation of various sketches of design process, as well as curated process short film, this experience will tell the story of a fictitious brand. It is an exhibit that draws users in through touch, sight, scent, and sound. A true luxury experience. The following are pieces that were included in my final proposal.
