For my final thesis, I have proposed to design a luxury atelier. In order to encapsulate and bring to life the research from my literature review, which can be summarised in one simple formula: Legacy + Craft = Narrative. Luxury brands were the founders of experiential branding, and I intend to create a mock luxury experience. As part of a design experiment, I discovered a passion for leather craft, which I plan to utilise in my final thesis project to create a memorable experience for attendees. Creating my own garment and accessories, paired with the presentation of various sketches of design process, as well as curated process short films, this experience will tell the story of my "brand". It will be an exhibit that draws users in through touch, sight, scent, and sound. A true luxury experience. The following represents the early stages of concept design proposal.
